The Modesty Survey

The boys from The Rebelution have an incredible survey on modesty that was taken during a 20 day period in January 2007. I highly recommend you follow the link to The Modesty Survey home page and then take some time to browse through the two main sections of the survey: Survey Overview & Survey Results.

Here is a quip from the website:

The Modesty Survey is an exciting, anonymous discussion between Christian guys and girls who care about modesty. Hundreds of Christian girls contributed to the 148-question survey and over 1,600 Christian guys submitted 150,000+ answers, including 25,000 text responses, over a 20-day period in January 2007.

Search through the website. There is gold buried in the pages. The survey results from the males is staggering (but not surprising) on what is seen as being immodest in regards to clothing and how women wear it and what they wear. It is staggering in the sense of the overwhelming agreement amongst the men taking the survey on certain questions, and me finding myself agreeing wholeheartedly with the question results.
